Fees continue to be payable during absence. If you are concerned about payment please speak to a member of staff at Pre-School.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers are accepted for all or part of the cost of your child’s sessions.  If you wish to pay using a voucher system, you should speak to Nicky Harding to confirm that your voucher scheme can be accepted by Pre-School.

Grants

The term after your child reaches the age of 3, he/she is entitled to the Early Years Grant for a certain number of hours in each funding period e.g. 1 September, 1 January and 1 April.

The grant is claimed by the Pre-School but in order for this to take place Pre-School is required to submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a Somerset County Council registration form when your child starts attending Pre-School. Please ask Nicky for a separate leaflet about the Early Years Grant if you would like more information.

If your child attends for a total number of hours in the funding period which exceeds the allowance for that period you will be invoiced by the Pre-School for those excess hours at the current hourly rate applicable to their age.

Clothing

We recommend children should wear simple comfortable clothing and not wear anything that may spoil. It is recommended to bring wellies and waterproof clothing in changeable weather.
